Mother’s Day Boobs

What happens to your boobs after kids? These life-giving knockers/fun-bags/ta-ta’s/melons/tits/rack/ which you used for years and years to attract the opposite sex and, in many instances, the same sex, they are now… mmmmm… well… they’re different. They are changed. They have been through a lot. They have given a lot. They are Life Givers. You feel different about them. Your partner feels different about them. But hey, they’ll still do.

This Mother’s Day weekend, I invite Ye Mothers of All the Land to celebrate your Life Givers and relish in their bounty. Hip Hip Hooray for Life Givers everywhere!

Hair Dipping

I always wanted to dye my hair. I never got to because I began modeling and acting at 14 and I had to look like the girl in my headshot. My hair had to be blonde all the time. I couldn’t walk into the audition for the Joslin’s (was the local department store, now gone) commercial with black streaks and black fingernails. Btw, I am sporting Essie’s “licorice” at the moment and it is so fresh! (Child of the 80’s.) Anyway, I was at Bob’s Big Boy with my son yesterday and I noticed a lady… a young girl, with the tips of her long blonde hair dyed green. Grinch-Green. It was awesome. In yoga the other day, the girl behind me had purple on the tips of her bleached-blonde hair. Awesome. She also had black on her nails and toes. So, am I too old to do this now? I am 36, Mother of a 2 year old, married. Is it improper? Poserish? Desperate? Silly? Laughable? I don’t know. I’m on hiatus from work right now, so it’s the time to do it. But, perhaps I missed my window…?
